Welcome
Welcome to A pictorial website of buildings and structures.
This site has been developed for the purpose of publishing a website containing a pictorial portfolio of photos of building in and around Hamilton and parts of the Waikato.
These photos will capture a current "moment in time" of the photographed building.
There has been no particular reason why a buildings/structures has been choosen apart from some character or visual appeal the building may have.
The buildings may have some historical or visual interest for the user of this site.
The portfolio was to include run down, abandoned places, however there are limited sites in Hamilton for this to be satisfactorily achieved. So some unkempt buildings feature in some of the galleries.

About this site
The photographs on this website have been taken during the end of winter and spring of 2012.
All the photos (execpt the black and white silver star image) have been taken by Fraser Kemp with a Olympus E510 DSLR Camera.
Adobe Photoshop CS5 has been used for post production editing of photos within this site.
Fraser is currenly a student of the Southern Institute of Technology completing the Diploma in Digital Photography course.
See the link below for further details on the course
(http://www.sit.ac.nz/courses/sit2lrn_study_anywhere_-_distance_learning/Diploma_In_Digital_Photography_5246)
The web site resulted from a requirement to complete the Diploma in Digital Photography 231 Portfolio course. One of the options in this course is the development of a website to publish a portfolio of photos.
The web site was chosen out of the other options for its cost effectiveness reasons. The website option was chosen to meet the requirements of the course by creating a portfolio of my work and then publishing it on a website.
Hopefully you will find the website professional looking that is easy to navigate which reproduces the images nicely in a logical manner.
A special thanks to Lyall for assisting with testing the website.
